Lisa Salvemini | Pilates Instructor

Lisa developed a passion for yoga and movement at a young age. However, it was in 2020 that Pilates captured her heart, and she began her journey to become a certified Pilates Matwork instructor through Studio Pilates. In early 2023 she took a significant step forward in her instructional skills by undergoing in-house training at Cadence Pilates and Physiotherapy where she worked closely with other highly trained health professionals.

 

Lisa is captivated by the nature of Pilates and the benefits it has on the functionality of the body by strengthening crucial stabilising muscles and restoring muscle imbalances; ultimately preventing or repairing injuries. Beyond its preventative measures, she loves how Pilates significantly enhances other areas of fitness like weight-lifting, long distance running and so many more.

Building relationships and creating connections with her community is also one of the biggest drivers in her teachings. She takes great pleasure in getting to know her members and seeing them grow on their fitness journeys. The gratification of helping others through safe, low impact and engaging movement is unmatched.

Lisa strives to make her classes a welcoming, engaging and fun place for her students to learn and grow in.
